I'm going to give the demos of Resolume, TouchDesigner and Magic Music Visualizer a shot and see which yields the most fun for me! Currently having a blast with Resolume, but really intrigued by node based stuff, which probably has a much steeper learning curve, but i think also has the most flexibility. But Resolume felt so "easy" and TouchDesigner looks very interesting as well.Īlso I see that people seem to be using Ableton nad M4L too. I'm primarily a developer and I've dabbled a bit with Processing, and I also know my way around Unit圓D as a hobby game maker.
Is therse some "guide" that exposes the difference between the approaches? Workflow and preperation wise? Like TouchDesigner and some people even using Unit圓D and I'm overwhelmed and don't really know where to start. But now I see that there's so many other options.
